Federal RS-RR 235/40/17 - $180
Federal rs-rr for sale! 235/40/17 and they are about the same width as most 245/40/17s. Build date 4516. They are a little noisy on the road, and they are somewhere between RE71R and Hankook RS3 V2 in terms of performance. About 25-30 runs in them and 400 street miles. Plenty of life left. $180 for ...

Hey Mike, How can I add SCCA index to the result? I am in CS, Nate is in STX, Okas is in STU and of course Larry is in DP.

Re: 2011 CDC Calendar
Oh Fred, didn't you know I have never beaten my co-driver, ever? Two years of driving with Mike Neary, the closest I got was 0.7 seconds behind.
The only time I did was I got Paul, but I did give him a car without gas.

1976 BMW 2002 front bumper
Hello, I have a BMW 2002 front bumper sitting in the garage gathering dust and my wife wants me to chuck it. Anyone interested before it goes to recycling?
If you are interested, contact me at mvkao at yahoo dot com.
Thanks,

How about run what your brung and forget about the index, but enforced an age handicap. Every year after 18 gets a 0.1 second reduction from your time.
Wait, that means Fred will win every event just like now. Nevermind...

Re: Suggestions for 2011
Sorry, in my previous post I mentioned power to weight ratio, and that's not what I meant to say. I was trying to say that HP index might be a liitle too harsh, and weight index is a liitle too easy. Sorry for the confusion.

Re: Suggestions for 2011
Street tire index: A z1 star spec/Kumho XS is NOT a slick and nowhere close to the grip, theyve gotten better but so have full slicks. I do think maybe "closing the gap" is better, but a proper A6 will be ~2.1 seconds on a course faster than a Z1. A couple of comments on slicks (with the ...

My suggestions are mostly time saving suggestions for the organizers and participants: Pre-paid through Paypal once the entry is approved. Annual tech. Novice sticker/magnet to identify the novice. One experienced autoxer as ride-along worker per heat for novices. Not sure what the reason is for sep...

That was completely over the top and I loved it! So next year I will be there with a 800lbs R1 powered 7 for Ben's enjoyment. The driver would s...

The stadium authority was not comfortable with the lot condition and suggested Philly to cancel the event, which they did. I think they would like to run one but no reason running the event at a risk.

I am known as the "magnet beggar" in 2007-8. I got people to give me their magnets that they don't want and constantly complain about not able to win a magnet. People were so annoyed by my tactics that Josh Luster (some of you know them) custom made me a first place magnet cone just to kee...

Wachovia is 2 hours and 15 minutes away from Gaithersburg. Richmond international is about 1 hour 55 minutes from Gaithersburg, and Petersburg is about 2 hours and 30 minutes from Gaithersburg. Philly is not that far, the only problem is if you tow a car, the tolls will kill you. It's $23 to go thru...

Re: Evo 9/8 Window Vents and assorted springs
No point....
I think it serves two things: If you open your front windows, it will reduce air turbulence in the cockpit. It actually works and I tried it at Summit's Main.
And it's supposed to look cool, but that's debatable.
It does nothing for autox.

Evo 9/8 Window Vents and assorted springs
Hello, I sold my Evo and I still have a few misc dudas left. The aluminum laser cut window vents (pair) are for sale for $75. (They were a rip off at $300 a pair in '07) Pictures below. I also have two sets of front/rear springs for Ohlins sportsline for the Evo. They are 2.5 ID and 6 inches for the...

Re: Datsun 510 on Craigslist
This 510 was a regular at the DC events when I first started in 06. He didn't know where he is going on course most of the time and almost ran me over twice in a single event while I was standing in my station.
