Star Specs for Sale 205-55r16
I'm selling a set of 4 Dunlop Star Specs in 205-55r16 for $120 or best offer. The tires don't have flat spots, have never been auto-crossed or raced on, and the tread is half worn. Why? Because they were dedicated rain tires on a family sedan, and I don't trust them in the rain any more. And I don't...

Re: CDC Halloween Autocross SATurday October 29th and TNT SU
Would you recommend the star specs or the winter tires to set the fastest time of day? I'm chasing AJ for the small bore championship.

Re: Autox Saturday August 27th at Bowie
I heard panic roll through the countryside. "Irene is coming," they chanted, as they ransacked grocery stores. Are we still autocrossing tomorrow?

Two? I had to run 17 times to get any decent times. Of course, the team stopped counting after the 6th run...JoeTR6 wrote:Fun course. It took me two runs before I wasn't driving completely by reaction (mostly late).
Personal best of 4 seconds off the fastest Miata at 46.50 on the 17th run.

Well... No guts, no glory. The clutch needs to die sometime. Tomorrow looks as good a day as any. See you there bright and early.

Re: Co-drive a Miata in Winchester?
Dang, and double dang. I already bought the Rosenthal Poor People Clutch Kit, and I'll be flat bedding my car to have the clutch repaired on the 16th. Until then, I'd like to find someone willing to let me co-drive their Miata. Winchester is a twice a year opportunity to spin out more at a discount....

Looking for a place to replace a clutch
My clutch decided to ditch me at 199K. I'm looking to divorce it from the Miata on about June 18 or 19.
Who's up for a kick the no-good clutch out of the bell housing party, and hooking up the Miata with a better one?

Thanks for the great event! I was amazed at how much adult supervision can improve my time. I went from 65 sec down to 55.77 and a dead cone! Thanks Ted and Larry!
Re: Fun Runs
Thanks for the fun runs. I tried to fortify all the suggestions by Ted and Larry, but failed miserably.

Looking for someone with a plasma cutter
Greetings, Here's my predicament. I tried to remove 20 year old rusted bolts with bolt extractors. I broke the high carbon steel bolt extractors inside the rusted bolts. I can't drill them out with cobalt drill bits. I hope I can get them out with a plasma cutter, if not, I'll have to resort to dyna...
