Set of four 16x6.5 Subaru 18 spoke wheels with Firestone Winterforce tires. Bolt pattern is 5x100. Tires have lots of tread left but are 8 years old. These were used as winter wheels for my 2013 BRZ. Re: Ideas for the 2015 Season
I'm probably chiming in a little late for this season, but I would love to have more TNT events. I'm not really looking to compete with others, just getting some seat time and trying to beat a personal best.

Happy ending time!
Went yesterday and picked up my new BRZ Limited
Now I just have to break in the engine before I can come to an autocross!

Re: She was only 3 months old
Got a call from the insurance company today. My car is officially totaled. Probably for the best since it would never be right after that amount of damage. They gave me a payout offer, but I can't say I'm pleased with it. A manager is supposed to call me on Monday, but the agent said they're not lik...

For anyone who would like to see how the car held up, I managed to take a few pictures at the junkyard. They're at the end of this album: http://imgur.com/a/FQ0LF

It was a stick. I'm guessing the car is totaled, so I'll probably be able to buy another new one after all the insurance BS is done.konkilr wrote:Was it an auto or stick? There is a red fr-s on a used car lot here in hagerstown, but it is an auto.

Mike and I were on the way to the grocery store when some asshat ran a stop sign going at least 40mph and t-boned my FR-S. :( http://i.imgur.com/7ND2x07l.jpg I don't think the guy who hit me even touched his brakes. Thankfully, we're ok aside from being sore and bruised, but I'd be shocked if the ca...

Re: This Is How Not To Drive A Porsche On A Race Track
Yikes! I'm doing my first real track day in March (FATT). I did the Ariel Atom Experience at VIR, but that doesn't really count. I haven't done any events in the new car (which is also my first RWD), so I'll be at the Harry Grove event to get some low-speed experience before taking it to Summit Poin...

Appears to be minimal to none.
I didn't replace or machine the rotors when I did the pads, but haven't seen any ill effects from it.

Re: Hawk HP+ Pads for 2006 JCW
Sorry, they're not available anymore. No one was interested so I just left them on the car, and they've been autocrossed quite a bit so I wouldn't feel comfortable selling them to someone at this point. Not sure yet if I'll be going to Bowie on the 2nd, but if I'm there you're absolutely welcome to ...

18" JCW R105 Wheels
Complete set of four 18"x7" John Cooper Works R105 wheels in brushed aluminum/black. These were OEM wheels on my 2006 MINI Cooper, but will fit other cars that take a 4x100 bolt pattern. The wheels are in perfect structural shape (not out of round, no curbing, scrapes, cracks, or rust), bu...

Shop for custom alignment?
I'm taking the 18" wheels off of my MINI, replacing them with 17"s, and removing the steering limiter that MINI installs with the JCW 18"s. After the limiter's removed I'll need an alignment. I would normally just go to Mach V in Sterling, but it doesn't look like they'll be able to f...

Hate to be the one, but that's not an LS. LS models came with a tan top and tan leather interior, regardless of exterior color.

Ariel Atom Experience
Entroper and I went down to VIR this past weekend and did some laps in an Ariel Atom. It was a blast! There was a Porsche club that had rented out the full circuit, so they were racing around us while we were doing laps on the Patriot Course. http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5311/5875017349_15714b429a...

Hawk HP+ Pads for 2006 JCW
I put HP+ pads on the front and rear of my JCW about 2.5 months ago. I love the brake feel and stopping power, but the things are just too noisy for street driving. Would anyone be interested in a complete set of slightly used (less than 2,000 miles) pads for their cooper? These fit the stock rear c...
