Re: Vintage FATT @ Summit Point

i did a "hyperdrive" with nasa there in my wifes' fit. you're right, it's not terrible as a HPDE track, but it would be extremely difficult so it seems for a race track.

Re: Back to Winchester 7-17-10

i stopped by to watch a few runs in the am.. looked awesome. i was so jealous. i wanted to take my wifes' Fit out again, but it was loaded with cinder blocks and car parts. so i just left all sad andheaded home to do housework. i will try and make it out again, but i know it may be a while.. and as ...

Re: Back to Winchester 7-17-10

Re: Woodbridge Autocross Saturday 7/10/10

I guess if I can do it on an Austin Healey 3000 and Sprite, I can do it on a Ford Pick up. At least the truck sits high enough that I don't need to put it on jack stands! Ed yeah, it is one of the nicest things about working on my truck. except when i want to get to the engine. but my inline six le...

Re: Woodbridge Autocross Saturday 7/10/10

well, didn't do as bad as i thought.. but meh. i didn't really have a good day.. coned way too many runs. i hit the same cone twice on the same run.. hit it once going down the slalom, was shagged and reset, and i hit it on the way back. hahahaa. will be nice to be back in the civic next week. thank...

if you want a ride along, look for the purple fit with green wheels. :D it's my wife's car, but i'm "borrowing" it for the day to run some "errands". hehe.

Re: 09/19 Summit Point

just looked at the pictures, and you are worried about that wheel lift? that's like an inch.. if you want to see wheel lift, check out some of the more prepared 84-87 civic/crx chassis. because they have a beam axle, somewhat like the fit, they lift a LOT more than that. rear wheel lift isn't that b...

hey no problem ed! just adds to the suspense! i should have probably entered into small bore with my civic; might have to next year. i'll be sure to harass kyle when i see him online. :) btw, i, like many others, appreciate the time all the volunteers put into this. i've seen what an incredible effo...

Re: 09/19 Summit Point

no one took any of mine either. but that's ok. :) no biggie for me!! i'd say driving the fit is a lot like driving an older civic. my wife has an 08 sport and i did a track day with it. it was very nice and controllable. Was that out at summit point at one of the last SCCA days? There was a fit out...

if you guys continue to run summit, i will continue to show up. :) took my daily driver civic si out and it reassured me that i need to run a FWD car.. i feel i turned a respectable time of i think 42.9.. with 180k on stock everything and some crummy Yokohama summer tires, not bad!!! definitely enj...
