Re: D.C. Historic Tags

Hi and welcome to CDC,
My understanding is that you will need a valid DC inspection when the car is registered as historic.
There are 2 categories of historic tags, 1 gets inspected every 2 years the higher tier doesn't. The criteria is on the DC DMV site.
Good luck,
Ted

Re: Winchester August 9th Results

Excellent course! Everyone who stepped up when Larry was caught in traffic did an exceptional job laying out the basic course and Larry fine tuned it into the best course I've run in a long time. CDC really makes Winchester worth the drive. It was great seeing the Alfa Romeo and Fiat Club drivers ou...

Re: Should we index for tire width too?

Weight to tire width is as important as any factor. 3000 lbs on 275s is no big deal, 1500 lbs on 275s is a different matter.

Every year Index Flu breaks out during silly season... Doesn't matter if the board is CDC, SCCA or NASA, it happens every year. The only known cure is the first Autocross.

Hey Jason,
Bring your military ID with the license and there shouldn't be a problem.
CDC appreciates the military and thanks your for service.

The presence of 2 stalwart Cobras is a credit to their marque... the absence certain other less meritorious individuals who also drive Cobras in fair weather should not reflect poorly on the marque as a whole.

Welcome Shadow GT-S... nice driving. The course was designed with rain in mind and with an STI your wet times were as good as a lot of dry times.

Re: CDC represented well at Porsche Club autocross on 7/2/11

We should give PCA it's own heat at our AXs so they could compete together and find out how many runs can be done if they were a little more organized (and had better equipment). With that light a crowd there should have been 6 runs plus fun runs. Denise and I brought our P-car and may have done wel...

Mercedes is an allied club, we honor their MBCA membership at our events and they do the same for our members. If you want you can do our event on the Sat and Mercedes on Sun... If we have less than about 75 drivers by close of registration at 8:45, we should sell an extra 6 runs (only the 1st 6 are...
