I have NO idea how I'd make those logistics work out. Maybe I need to build a bigger tire trailer...one big enough to haul my normal tires and crap....PLUS my Big Green Eggs and a few bags of charcoal.

Ed O confirmed that we should have BBQ there (Ribs, and chicken) with the smoker on site! I think the cook said 1/2 slab of ribs for $8 or $9 (just to cover his cost). These ARE THE BEST RIBS I HAVE EVER HAD! I see you have never tried the Ribs off my smoker.... they are the best! :P You guys just ...

Love RPF1's....I run them on the miata and the cobra. Wish they were available wider than 10" in 17's though

it was fun playing pool last year. I think it's easier to socialize and interact with everybody in that kind of setting, versus a sit-down place where you talk to the folks sitting next to you and that's it.

yikes. I made my statement above assuming a usual level of tirerack close-out discount. If the pricing sucks, then it might pay to wait for the Z2 or keep a close eye on the closeout pricing and see if they drop it as they get closer to a changeover.

unless you're at a point where you feel like the car is holding you back, I'd be all over a close-out deal on the current Star Specs.

I have (4) RE11's off my miata that have some usable life left in them. 205/50R15. I didn't measure the tread depth, but I'd guess it at 3/32 or 4/32. Not quite down to the wear bars. Two tires have had small nails in them and have plugs (both dead center). They are 2809 and 2909 date codes (2 each)...

I second Stephen's comments on the T5. I had one in the FFR early on, and turned 3rd gear into gravel with about 350 hp. They do OK up to moderate power levels, but with a heavy car like yours, it could be trouble. I'd go with a TKO.

what did you end up running at Mason Dixon last weekend? 12.7 @ 115 with a 2.01 60ft time. How did you do? It was my first time at a drag strip. Boost control wasn't great so effectively that was at 17psi. I fixed it so now it holds 24psi (or so) to redline :lol: My best was 11.5 at 120 with 1.726 ...
