Re: BEST STREET TIRES

These two statements are why I use the Star Specs on my daily driver/ax car. If you're running 17s on an E30 bmw it's going to be more about which ones come in a size that'll fit on your car... all the tires mentioned are good, so are RE-11s and kumho XSs I was about to say, in tests the Kumho XS h...

If you're running 17s on an E30 bmw it's going to be more about which ones come in a size that'll fit on your car... all the tires mentioned are good, so are RE-11s and kumho XSs From what I've read, looks like 215 40 17 will fit best and 235 40 17 will fit fine in the rear and have "some"...

BEST STREET TIRES

Hey guys, I'm planning on getting back into autocross next year after only doing a few events in the past couple of years. I'm a little out of the loop and I need some help in deciding which is the best "street" tire these days for autocrossing. I will be showing up and driving on the tire...

Re: Track day, 07/10/2009

As part of the track team for NVCC, I find it highly worrying that you took it upon yourself to "dump" your instructor. The NVCC guidelines and track insurance states that ALL students must ALWAYS have an instructor in their vehicle on track at any High Speed Driving Event (school) the cl...

I've watched that crash like five times and I cringe every time he smacks the tire wall as he's going backwards :o

Re: ROLL BAR

How about the guy that did the Sux@$$ machine? Lee something. I emailed you his info not too long ago. They posted pics of the cage somewhere ( either here or on NASIOC ) Someone recommended to me RPM Fabricators in Elkridge, but I've never seen their work up close. Yep, I got a pm from Mike today ...

ROLL BAR

Can anyone recommend a good shop to have a roll bar installed? I've been doing more and more HPDE's and its time to step up the safety. I have a 95 Mustang GT. I would porbably want something welded in, probalby a four or six point bar.

Thanks, Fernando.

Everyone can thank me later.

Re: NASA Sumit Main

Gonz, you must have me confused with the yello "its not a Cobra" GT that went off in T1 :) . The dust, Pete, was from the dirt used to fill in the low spots after the repaving. I managed to stay on track the entire weekend, plus I only like to go off in the WRX since its got four wheel dri...

I'm a bum, so I like to dress like one :D[/
