Re: Should Greater than 250 HP be the top Index?
I will say that I have never had an issue with the SCCA PAX. My issues with the local SCCA events are probably the same as the others. You spend too much time working on out course and don't have enough time to hang out with your friends, and by the time you have time to do that you are too tired to...

Re: Should Greater than 250 HP be the top Index?
I agree there are many other clubs to choose from if someone wants to compete, but like you said, some people just really like the CDC atmosphere. The top like 15 or so cars running for index points last were all modified, some heavily. So where's that leave the guys running stock cars who may want...

This thread brings out the giggle monster. http://tshirtgroove.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/t-rex-epic-duel-t-shirt.jpg We have these threads every year. Everyone hates how the indexes stack up and so on. I know there is a bunch of hate for SCCA on here...but do you guys want to revisit using the ...

Re: smallbore index
All intake and exhaust 4AGE's that I've seen dyno's for were in the low to mid 90's range so I went with that index.
But yeah the I guess the Small bore only touches the tire index so that looks right.

Re: smallbore index
Pretty sure our index is correct but I double checked anyway.
112S = Which should be correct and put us at .9999.
Also the index doesn't help much, your raw time was just better. Mei had a 40.59 on her last run but picked up a cone.

Re: Nationals Results
So much hatred for the SCCA....Makes me a sad panda. The only thing that I hate about the SCCA is that there are allot of VERY fast drivers in our region. It's hard to be on top but it does drive you to be better and learn more. I mean they run 200-260 cars in one day with a HUGE course. CDC is much...

New wheels and tires
Rear camber plates
Took out the motor and rebuilt it so that it would stop leaking/burning oil.

Re: CHALLENGES!!!!!
Hey, if you want to sponsor a challenge yourself, you can make the rules. Like, "Mei versus Slava" challenge. I'd attend to see her beat you. BTW, it's Mitsubishi, not Mitsubashi, foolio. :P Oh, since it's sponsored then do your thing. Mitsubashi is the knock off brand of Mitsubishi f00.

So the question is....why is a whole Brand of Car challenging one make? Shouldn't it be STI VS EVO? Or Subaru vs. Mitsubashi?

I approve of this messagekyle.bowker wrote:Those super hypothetical SCCA PAX results tell me that fast drivers in fast cars still win. Big surprise! What would be interesting to see the delta between the CDC handicap and the SCCA PAX, e.g. Fred Kelley 0, Mike Moran -4, Slava +15, etc.

Ed,
I'm sure all of us that are part of BDR (ButtDynoRacing) would be more then happy to calculate SCCA pax times for people. IF the person signs up with their SCCA class. We can calculate everything else afterwards.
