Re: Air compressor
Where would I get one of those filled? It seems like I'd need higher pressures than I could get from a gas station fill station? Or maybe I'm missing something... ?

Air compressor
Hi guys, So I'm sick of those cheapo air compressors you can get at any auto parts store. I've been through 3 of them. One an internal fuse blew, it wasn't replaceable. Next one had fuses, but the motor burned out after a few uses. 3rd one, I don't even know why it's not working anymore. But anyways...

Am I missing something? Are the results posted yet?wrathe74 wrote: I also noticed that slicks do not help you on this track, much. Look how close Brian and Mike were in times; and Mike was on street tires!

Re: May 9th event at Summit Point
I don't know if they plan on adding any more paddock space. I'd guess not, but who knows. What I can say is that when I was there with the BMW club they ran everything from the other end of the skid pad. This allowed them to use the longer access road at that end as a staging area. Since it's so len...

Re: Summit skidpad
Was it determined that SP does NOT own a street-sweeper? Just sitting here looking out at the rain and wondering how much mud/dust will be on the skid-pad on Sat. What can we do to get a clean surface? Any Ideas?? Not true. BSR does has a sweeper; it was out in force for the BMWCCA event this weeke...

Is there any CDC merchandise available? That'd be cool.hepcatz wrote:Sure, then you don't have to remember to swing by an atm. Spare change can be saved for: food, merchandise or the help John go faster charity fund... laugh!

I second this!Imprezive_04 wrote:IMHO CDC should stick to what makes them different from other clubs. The current format lends it self to a club atmostphere with mingling and oppurtunities for ride alongs.

Re: Summit skidpad
I agree as well. I like that everyone (especially newcomers) get a break and a chance to learn a bit before going at the course for a second session. Unfortunately, this format does not lend itself well to the TSP. The venue is so large that worker/heat changeovers take considerably longer. It help...

Re: Summit skidpad
I like the way the CDC is doing it. You have the option of getting all your runs done in the morning, if you are willing to accept less runs. One thing I like about the format is it does more to promote the club feel. You end up with plenty of time to watch and learn, eat hot dogs and socialize. If...

Re: Rally May 24
Just saw it added to the calendar. Sounds like fun. I've never done a rally before and I'm looking forward to it!
Thanks for the heads up!

Re: Summit skidpad
So it looks like (from the video) that they haven't got the candy cane in yet. When I ran with the BMW club at their event (which I think was the 1st real event at TSP so there were some guys from BSR there), some folks from BSR told us the race curb would be in by now. Does anyone know if they have...
