Hey Wade, thanks for the heads up. Knowing me, that was probably them (Lindsay calls it "drop and plop"). At any rate, hopefully I'll find them. If not...luckily, I haven't lost the pair of sunglasses that Nick (v10climber) loaned to me about 4 years ago.

As a side note, I may have lost my sunglasses at this event (lost meaning placed someplace when taking off my helmet and then walked away). We're up to 102! Winchester usually ends up with lower attendance since it's a little bit farther away for folks. That being said, it's our biggest lot, and in my opinion, usually the most fun.

I agree that 66 to 81 is faster, but I still prefer to take 7 or 50 out. Makes for a nicer ride...just be sure to watch for cops on any route. Not that anyone here would drive over the posted speed limit.

Haven't found anyone yet, but I too am looking for this for our Mk2 (it has a massive exhaust leak and too much rust for a direct repair). Let me know if you find something good!

I cut numbers out of thin magnetic rubbery material and slap those on the doors. The stuff isn't too expensive. I think MJDesigns has it. The club may even have some available. For extra credit. put your bar code stickers on those and tape over them with clear mailing tape. You can buy vent covers ...

AJ, I think you make a very good point about looking at past results/historical data. We can speculate all we like, but looking objectively at the stats would be the best indicator. Do we have anybody who drives a car in the higher horsepower brackets that also drives a car in one of the lower horsepower brackets? Do they consistently run about the same index times? That's about the only way I know of to verify the accuracy of the index system. There is always the driver skill...
