Their is another event scheduled on Sunday in Hershey PA. I would not be in favor of trying to reshedule this event. I am RWD, big slicks and no top,or wipers, it might be alot like last Sunday, fun. Don't stand too close to the light poles, and tires are great insulaters from electricity.

Dave,
I'm not involved in this event, but it's safe to say that no one is going to say it' O.K. to use a stopwatch. You shouldn't even ask. Sorta like the gay sailors.

Re: What was your winter project?
I was planning on a Torsen, then I read about many problems with the newer ones. I ended up getting a DPI Platinum track dif, ahh, kind of made to my specs. I kept it on a granite counter over the winter it was so pretty. The guys who made it put them in 750 hp asphalt modifieds, so I think I'll be ...

Re: What was your winter project?
My little kit car got a few minor tweeks. I gradually went from 450# springs to 900#'s last year, I kept the same stock shocks, well, they went on a little trip to California this winter and got some attention at the Bilstein revalve center. I also always hated all the bushings in my suspension and ...

I'm all for prepaying for events. You would still make a little when it rains, and we wouldn't have the Manassas type problems. The way it is now you can jump on, and show up if you feel like it, or not. Myautoevents.com works well for many events I do.

Steve,
I don't think we really care, we just don't want to be outsmarted by team Suxass again, plus it's winter we don't have anything better to do.

Re: Informal Awards Lunch and the New Index System
Anything over 300HP at CDC events only helps to entertain the spectators, it doesn't make anyone faster, right Wade?

Re: Informal Awards Lunch and the New Index System
My cobra will be a C2S or C2R, I think I've got some 210 rated tires around somewhere. Wades is a B1R. I'll be driving my Miata though.

Re: Winning the CDC Points Championship
Interesting perspective. I have personally always enjoyed watching "team Morans" antics, it is very entertaining to see all the commotion and stratagizing. When I beat the Morans I had an added sense of acomplishment knowing it was just me against the "team". The rules are the ru...

What a coincidence Ted, that's Nathan Higginbottom. He was one of my students in the late 90's. It took him a while, but he's catching on.
