Re: Up in the Air, The Blind Side and Avitar

Avatar We don't go to the movies very often, however we did go see Avatar. IMO, it is the best sci-fi movie I've seen in ages. Yes the plot was predictable however, the story was engaging, there was never a moment where it felt "overdone" or the acting was sub-par. It had some really good...

Regarding Harry Grove Stadium access path - that's thinking outside the box! I know I drove down it once or twice while setting up as an organizer. I think Ted or Richard gave me some gruff. That seriously is a brilliant idea! We could even switch up stop/start then (well, maybe). -Ed O The p...

Re: Your opinion - which autocrosses did you like/hate?

Summit Point - Love it. Its the only time I can get the RSX to go all out (2 seconds behind mike in the SuxAss) and the only place I've been able to beat AJ! :) The run-off areas are limited and can potentially do some damage, but its getting better. Honestly, I feel safer there than any other place...

Re: Andy Hollis's Top Ten Auto-x Driving Tips

My point is it's not that simple... in a FWD it _is_ .... can think of a few very specific cases where it's useful in my kart, but even then you induce it with a throttle-lift-turn-in, not just turning it and giving it a bootful. Ugh. My head hurts!! :? :? J/K. Transitioning to my BMW is definitely...

I also told everyone in ST that I had an illegal clutch from the beginning and a light flywheel. I've never tried to hide what I have done to the car. Being that the guys in ST are cool with it, they told me I could run with them.

thanks, i'll ride along with you if we're in different heats. but my tc is heavier than the RSX, the tc weighs in at 2900 pounds, and since the roof is made out of glass, the center of gravity is higher than it would be if it were a conventional roof, but that is part of what makes the car SOOO COO...

Re: apologies and thanks to everybody

well, the car should be finished today. it is going to be a dump into in the atmosphere, with a tube running it out of the engine compartment. they said that they can recirculate it, but my downpipe is HPC coated, so cutting into it and welding in the pipe could ruin the heat coating, but if i want...
