I'm registered for this weekend's event and will give it a go in Small Bore. Hopefully the weather holds out for us.

Official results have been posted to the Results page. Be sure to force a page refresh to see the latest results file (CTRL + F5, Apple + R, CTRL +R, etc.). As always, the living results file can be viewed at any time at GoogleDocs.

Look again. Your browser is probably loading an old page from cache. This is why the official results page instructs visitors to "Be sure to force a page refresh to see the latest results file (CTRL + F5, Apple + R, CTRL +R, etc.)"

Re: Bowie 5/8

There have been no requests for corrections in several days so we've finalized the CDC results and made them official. They're now available for download in Microsoft Excel .xls, Adobe Acrobat .pdf formats on the Results page. And of course you can always see the "live" file on GoogleDocs ...

Re: WTB: Car Trailer

The box truck is good for a Sprite or a small formula car or a motorcycle race team but would be tight if not impossible with a Miata. NA and NB Miatas are the same size (give or take a few mm). You might be able to do it but every time you loaded/unloaded it would be a pain.

Re: Sugarloaf Mountain Rally Sun. May 30th

whats the deal with these rally's? Are they a "serious balls out race"? Or is it more of a cruise type of thing? Are the roads closed off? How long do they take? Etc. It's not a race, it's a rally. This is not a TSD event and it is not a cruise. We ask all participants to obey all traffic...

Re: thoughts on a popular subaru mod

The problem isn't that the mudflaps are too wide, but rather your tires are too narrow! Get some man sized tires on there and you'll be so fast the extra width won't be an issue.

Sounds awesome. CDC rallies are always a blast. Sorry I won't be able to make this one as I will be out of town that weekend in WV to attend a graduation ceremony (hopefully I will find some fun twisties near Greenbrier). Good luck and enjoy.

3-pt belts are acceptable, but then it states that 4,5,6 pt belts may be used provided the same is available for the passenger .... that means I don't pass tech. I also don't have roll bar padding or an FIA passengers seat so I don't know that the "safety for the driver is equivalent for the p...

The Maryland State Police training center at Sykesville made it clear they did not want our business by requiring increased insurance coverage that mak...

Re: CDC 2010 Results

It looks like points earned by non-members don't get totaled in the championship points standings. I guess non-members are going to be at the bottom of the points anyways because they do so few events and their temporary id number really complicates things. If they decide to become members Mike can ...

I talked to Mike this morning about it. As soon as he has the most up to date member list with permanent member numbers from Ed he can complete his schema for automating the driver's championship points standings. The hope is that this will greatly improve the speed in which he can get the results p...

Re: the Capri Is cooler than you think

I don't hate it. It's just not loved by many and the market reflects that. When you can get a running Capri for <$1k why bother doing anything to the one you've got? If it was my money and I loved Capris the car that runs like crap would become a parts car to help keep a better example in good shape.

Re: the Capri Is cooler than you think

It would probably take a competent shadetree mechanic the better part of a day to swap heads. Allow ample time to remove rusty fasteners. Given the value of your Capri you may just want to swap a junkyard head and cross your fingers in the hopes that it will run better than it did before. A valve jo...
