This would be a great place to start with the RX-8. Next would be moving to STX. All the top STX RX-8s are either running the Star Specs or the RS-3s.

I think the deciding factor on whether it's too early to jump to that would be if i were to see someone extract a significant amount of time from the car that i wasn't able to.
