Nice job CDC! The winchester lot is a blast w/ the all the off-camber stuff and great grip. Good course too, LB. :)

and yeah, he is running it, i think most of the cobra guys are. Some of us can't afford that fancy-pants stuff. ;) I run the stock fox-body mustang pump/rack. DIRT cheap at any autoparts store. The electric setup is pretty sweet though. I think Larry is using a KRC pump? Ben has Fred's setup.

Re: Thoughts about Winchester lot- What's your opinion?

How fast is Winchester? Its hard to justify when Susq. SCCA is running at Hershey (which is HUGE ) and isn't much further than Winchester for most. Its probably closer for some of the Frederick guys. Here's a vid from a typical course last year (sorry for the crappy quality)...... http://www.youtub...

Re: Thoughts about Winchester lot- What's your opinion?

The winchester lot is a blast...one of my favorite CDC locations. I don't like the idea of a making it a TNT. You could keep it a scored event and still give more runs for more $$. Maybe $5-10 more entry fee and 8 runs instead of 6? We members might also be able to bump up attendance by ta...

Travis-

Based on the weather forecast, I was initially thinking I had made the wrong choice of cars, and was wishing I brought the miata instead. Those thoughts were gone on the first lap of the coursewalk. ;)

Re: Bowie June 11th 2011 Results

I can't believe I coned away a 36...shoot me. It was a fun day despite the heat and brief downpour. Adam and I made it with about 3 miles from home before the skies OPENED up and dumped buckets on us. At least the rain was cold and felt good after cooking on 66. I really liked the initial loop, the ...

Re: 5/7 CDC AX at Bowie, MD

Anyone looking to purchase a gently used EVO? Fun event, evo is done for the season already, going to be in small bore for the rest of the season. Drake- what was the outcome of that launch? I heard you bang the limiter a couple times in rapid succession....then silence....then being pushed back to...

haha...I know which run you're talking about. Your car was plowing on the uphill side of the "loop". As soon as you lifted going into the downhill gates, the front end bit hard and you were along for the ride (as were a few cones..haha). :D

Re: Fun Runs

Sorry I missed the fun runs! The afternoon weather was perfect. :)

Yesterday's event was a good argument for prepayment with registration. Put the risk of weather on the participants...not on CDC. I imagine it's difficult to make the numbers work when 1/3 of the registrants don't show up.
