Gee, it's great to be right. Thanks Ed. Sigh...echan wrote:Dan K, you were right the 2003 MR2 driven by Dan B is a small bore car. There's one period of MR2 that isn't small bore, but Dan's car qualifies. I guess you'll have to settle for 99 points!

Thanks for the fast turnaround on the results Mike! Props to Larry for the course-- this might have been the best ever for using every possible square inch of Harry Grove.

Re: rear sway
Using the RB hollow bar for the nb on it's softest setting. We were pushing badly at winchester a couple of weeks ago. I'm thinking that with a stiffer rear bar we could eliminate some understeer and if it causes oversteer the front bar could go to a stiffer setting. On the other hand the entire pro...

Here are some pics I snapped of Heats 2 & 3 (morning) - they are a bit "meh" but figured I'd share anyways. As soon as I grabbed the camera (after the shots that were taken of myself), I managed to screw the settings all up, especially for an overcast day as it was  http://www.fl...

Huge thanks to all the organizers! Larry too(at least the course wasn't too long)! All kidding aside- it seems like the events are running incredibly smoothly. Hats off to all of you! And to all of us participants too--- fast heat changes are the secret to much happiness. And that everybody seems to...

DP Tuning gets $500 for a rev limit bump/remap. You pay shipping both ways.

Re: ECU
My tach is off by 600+ RPMs at redline. I don't know if the NB tach is similarly useless. Some timing lights have an RPM readout. You can use that as well. On mine I need to divide the displayed number by two because of the wasted spark setup. Errr wait... those newfangled NBs have some sort of sem...

Used an OBDII reader the first time and it didn't show any change but
Dptuning says their bench test showed a 650 rpm increase in rev limit. That's why I'm looking for an alternate method.

Just got my ECU back from DP Tuning for the second time. Sent it out to have the rev limiter bumped. For the second time it appears unchanged. Looking for a way to check the RPM's beyond simply reading the tach. Appreciate any ideas.

If I wasn't going to be in Florida that weekend this would be my first road rally. I'm sure I could get my wife to participate and Gitfiddles is a nice little country bar and restaurant. What Mike said-- does Joe organize any other rallys throughout the year?

Harry Grove April 21st Results Let me know if you see any problems with the results, either by posting in this thread or sending me a private message. I think that Dam Franklin is cheating.
