Re: Proposed Changes in 2014 CDC Autocross Series
So, if I am understanding correctly, one chooses if they run in small-bore or not. If they do, then their time applies to that category, and not to to the general pool of indexed attendees. I don't have a problem with this part of the concept. The challenge that I see is that the small-bore category...

5x100 Stock FR-S Wheels with ZII's
Looking at going aftermarket and a little wider for next year's autocross season. I have a set of stockers( 17x7, 5x100, +48) with 225 ZII's that I used last season that I am looking to part with. Tires have been thoroughly used but are in good shape and could probably get you another third to half ...

Bump.
Still kicking this idea around, possibly for a winter project. Let me know if anyone knows anyone. I want something that needs some work and is cheapish. NA preferred.

Ls2 or Coyote. You have to put either V8 or displacement indicative badges on the side of the car though.

Re: Where to buy cones / Rallycross course design
Josh, This could be awesome. I would love to give it a shot. Might be able to turn this into a one-day a year CDC event? I know there are many details surrounding how events work, but this could be a really cool idea, especially since renting the space costs $0.00. I would bring my Ranger out just t...

Sounds to me like it would be more fun to just start throwing parts on and fab as we go. Measure once and cut twice!Nathan Atkins wrote:nobody has done this swap before so there is a lot to investigate and plan

Re: 2011 Ford Mustang 3.7 V6 with 6sp manual into 2005 RX8
As far as fab work, there's motor and xmsn mounts, rear diff brackets, mod driveshaft and half shafts, transmission tunnel modification, oil pan reshaping, custom intake plenum, fuel lines, cultch hydraulic lines, brake booster modification, comprehensive wiring reconfiguration and electronics fidd...

Re: School Me
Yep if you have a few events and understand how to work and walk the course go right to level 2, lots of goodies to be learned there. I took it last year and really enjoyed it.

Re: Huge Empty Lot - Victory Center on Eisenhower (Alexandri
I also live 5 minutes from Lincoln Tech and have run with CCA 5 or 6 times now. They are no where near as organized as CDC, but are a bunch of nice guys and are passionate about racing(most of them do track stuff). The lot is decent in size and I think CDC could do a cool course with it, but the pav...

Re: WTB: WRX Rear Sway Bar
Yep I have the Strano bar on the front of my car. Removed the oversteer, which is good, but has created quite a bit of understeer. I wanted to see if I could find cheap way to test out trying to dial some of that back out with a slightly stiffer rear bar. I have talked to Sam personally at an event ...

WTB: WRX Rear Sway Bar
Looking for an 08+ stock WRX 16mm rear sway bar to put on my FR-S. It is only 2mm larger than my stock rear bar and is just the right size how I am setting my car up.
If any Subie guys have one, let me know, also posted on NASIOC to see if I can find anyone over there.
