Re: Woodbridge July 27th Results

I was planning on bringing my eagle talon for SAG, but my rear antisway bar didn't show up in time. I was driving my integra which has an index of C122S (not C123). Thanks Mike.

Re: Winchester June 16th Results

I was co-driving my dad's lean green neon... so my index should be C123 and not C122S. Thanks!

Re: NASA @ VIR in July

Good to hear from you, DJ. Are you doing door-to-door or time trials? My goal is to apply for a provisional TT license toward the end of this season and run with NASA-MA, so maybe i'll see you at the track.

Re: NASA @ VIR in July

I'm not nervous... because HONDA! I jst bring spare fluids and pads and some tools and zip ties and try to keep it on four wheels. I'm not doing any racing in july or august. I detest the freaking heat and humidity. I am doing VIR in two weeks and then saying screw the mid east coast until september.

If you're anything like me (and many others I'm sure), remembering a track is like remembering how to ride a bike. ;)

See you there!

Re: Trackdaze Shenandoah

I will be at Shenandoah Cool, I'll stop by. I'm in green group... The miata can fit some tools, wood blocks/ramps, and lunch but is then completely full. I want to do one of the NASA VIR events and camp. Maybe I'll look into getting/building a trailer like Jared. I'll be looking for you. VIR is AWE...

Re: Trackdaze Shenandoah

I had a blast doing two days at VIR last weekend with TrackDaze and I will be at Shenandoah on both days in two weekends.  I'll be running either black or yellow group (depending on sizes) and I'll be camping.  I have the beater-looking black 2g Integra.  It may not be the best at autocross, but it ...

I would probably sign up; but do you think there'd be enough interest among CDC members?

I'll be at VIR this weekend with TrackDaze.

I used to climb indoors and outdoors pretty frequently (see my profile pic), but lately having two project cars (track/autocross integra and talon rallycross car) has left me without time.  Do you guys have memberships or are you just paying per visit?

Where to source a roll bar main hoop?

I am looking to install a roll bar into my tin-can-of-a-Honda since it has seen (and will continue to see) road course action. I want to do a weld in, and between my friend and I we have the equipment and welding skill to do a safe, effective install. I can buy the bar stock online, but the only thi...

Re: forza 4

how does forza compare to GT5? i like GT5, but it seems like no matter how drastically i change the suspension settings (for example, increase rear swaybar stiffness to MAXIMUM), the car's dynamics barely change at all! so i don't even bother with trying to tweak settings. a car's response to a larg...

Re: Star Specs?

A lot of folks say the kumho xs is poor in the rain. i tried them in the rain at my first track day in the integra. they were good performers. i scrubbed them in at two autocrosses prior to the track day. i lapped a porsche 944 race car in a stock integra on the kumho xs in rain. maybe they suck whe...

Re: Star Specs?

Well, Larry and Andy think I can fit 275s on my wheels, so that just opened up a TON of options. Suggestions so far have been Kuhmo XS, Nitto NT05, and something by Bridgestone? What else should I look at? Dunlop star specs, kumho xs, hankook rs-3, nitto nt-05, toyo r1r (may be too soft for heavy c...

Re: Star Specs?

If you're going to do any track driving, i would also recommend the Kumho XS. They love heat and are very durable. Because they are optimized for high temps, they may not be as great for autocross, so the star specs are still a great choice.

INDEX DETAILS (from CDC FAQ):

except the club is now using a cap for horsepower. anyone running 251+ HP stays at the 201-250 HP index.

How was the Integra? Handle the rain well? I never got passed in the rain but got passed quite a bit in the dry. I actually lapped a porsche race car that usually passed me in the dry. I am running almost new kumho xs and they felt very good during the slick sessions. The integra was pretty fun and...

Re: TrackDaze Shenandoah 6-7 Oct

I would say three or more track days with demonstrated safe driving, awareness and understanding of flags and passing etiquitte, and a solid roadcourse driving skill set.

everyone has their own definition. Trackdaze.com probably has some guidelines as well.

TrackDaze Shenandoah 6-7 Oct

I signed up in intermediate group with my new autocross/rallycross/track car, 1992 Acura Integra RS. It is black & almost bone stock. It will be fun to compare to my former E36 M3 (sold)! I hope to see some CDC'ers out there. i will be camping, likely along the back straightaway.
