2011 Schedule?

Post by D_Eclipse9916 »

I am trying to put together my schedule for 2011 as NASA/SCCA and everyone else is getting theirs out the doors. Was wondering when we were expected to see anything? Everything is coming up quick, first NASA autox is Jan 23rd and NASA VIR is the Feb 18th. Short off-season this year, gotta replace everything in the rear end of the m3, those balljoints popping on the last CDC autocross was quite nerve-wracking.

Seems like CDC likes to run events when Cumberland and SCCA are off.....is SCCA Solo schedule out? I know Cumberland just released theirs today.

We will probably have the lunch near the end of January/early February. The trophies will be watches this year and I'm trying to get a sample from a company (from the internet). I'll let everyone know. As usual, the schedule and award lunch is always difficult to get done smoothly.

Barbecue again? Branded 72 (formerly O'Brien's Pit BBQ)? Or will we try some place in Northern VA? I think Roy's Place (the sandwich joint) and Branded 72 (BBQ) are both good food options (except for maybe the lone vegetarian MX-5 owner).

Actually, Mike and Jen Moran surveyed potiential conflicts, proposed an overall schedule, and scheduled Winchester and .
Kyle and I scheduled Bowie.
I scheduled Woodbridge.
Joe Macinnes Scheduled Frederick.
Ed O is working the AndrewTech/Turbo XS sponsor TNT.
Ted Joseph got all the Insurance Certificates.

Joe Seward is busy on software upgrades to the timing system.
Mike Herandez and looking into building a course simulator to help our course designers and to be available for our participants.

Overall, it's a huge group effort, which there's no way I could do it all.
