2011 CDC Calendar

Post by echan »

Hey Everyone,

The 2011 CDC Calendar is on the "Media" Section on the web (link below).

http://www.capitaldrivingclub.com/calen ... lendar.pdf

Feel free to Download.

We are also working on the 2011 Schedule and will post it when we get it finalized (somewhat - since some of the Fall dates are always tenative due to Minor League BaseBall Play-Offs).

Oh Fred, didn't you know I have never beaten my co-driver, ever? Two years of driving with Mike Neary, the closest I got was 0.7 seconds behind.

The only time I did was I got Paul, but I did give him a car without gas.

Don't feel bad Don, the only one of me and my car is of my fat rear/buttcrack. They do an inverted pic thing based on speed.

Poor Don and Fred. They do not get enough attention for their efforts. Its quite sad, really.

Don't take it personally. I try to mix up cars and people in the first pages and last pages (non-months), then try to use interesting car shots. If I can, I always pick photos that I took, then select photos from the CDC Flickr site when I run out of photos (and try to select photos where I think people wouldn't mind - trying to reduce people getting mad using their photos). After all this, I really didn't have many photos to choose from.

I good idea for next year is to have a photo contest for the 2012 calendar (assuming the world doesn't end) and select photos from those submitted. I figure the winners would get their photos in the calendar and an award (like a free pass or something).

And if you're a chick,
and you show up to one autocross,
to watch,
for five minutes,
and someone snaps a picture of you for any reason,

YOU'RE IN!

Nice Calendar. I like the idea of the photo contest or the FTDs or top 10 cars (over all) winners on it. ;)
