Awesome, I plan to be there both days. I'm installing a new starter & fittings tonight so hopefully I can leave the whacking screwdriver at home. I also put in a new rubber shift boot.

Anyone going to be there on Sunday who could ride with me and help me learn? (This is only my second event.)

Yeah the test and tune is the perfect place to get people to help, as is a regular event if you ask. You'll find with CDC there is always some one willing to help you out.

I'm far from the fastest guy/gal on the block, but I'm always available for helping new folks & have helped coach folks with CDC & NCCBMW before. Mike or any of the Morans are good choices being very skilled & many others. I'll be with the fugly '86 Corolla gts otherwise ask the timing tent or grid/start worker for an instructor before you run. When not actively running or working, I suggest talking and asking for ride alongs as much as possible. Walk the course lots too.

This will be your first time seeing the "SUXASS". Feel free to ride along in it anytime. If the passenger seat is empty, jump in. Ask any of us organizers to instruct, we will be glad to help. My brother and I especially have experience in a car just like yours.

First you have Larry instruct you. Systematic, easy to comprehend direction for finding the line/power spots/braking.

When you have that somewhat figured out, get Jake in there and he makes you hyper and go-fasty (mostly by screaming).

I'm new to this. Never been to an event, and I'm not signed up for this one. I'd like to show up just to meet people and see how it works. I don't want to end up in the way, is it better at or Sunday?

Sunday is the NO Pressure Day. There will be lots of car swapping and ride-alongs. A perfect day to dip your toes in.

Don't worry you won't be in the way at all. Either day is great with this club. No pressure but more runs on Sunday. Look forward to seeing you.

I know this will probably make me sound like a broken record, but another great event orchestrated by CDC and the organizers. Seems like things went fairly smooth today & the weather was great. I enjoyed getting a second event under my belt with the new "I am not Jim car" otherwise known as the Millennium Falcon. (doesn't look like much but she has it where it counts...) It's going to take me awhile to get good in this car however I am having a blast & enjoy the challenge & differences from the Miata. See everyone tomorrow!

I must apologize. I have been providing same-day results for a while now, but I will not be able to this time. I thought the card with the results was in the equipment I brought home. It must still be in the trailer. I will have to post them tomorrow evening. Sorry everyone.

I favor the conspiracy theory. Frank always beats me in my car and must have put you up to this to give him time to cook the numbers so that he can win again. Show the birth certificate-- I mean--the numbers!

No way! =) Had a blast at the TnT today. Was lucky to be in the only run group that had dry conditions and even luckier to nail down into the 43s! Very stoked about achieving that. Spend the remainder of the day moist & on RE-11s. The start got a bit muddy. Mega runs as always & now I know how the Rolla feels in the wet. Kudos to the organizers for the format change which resulted in bug benefits for the attendees at the sacrifice of the organizers, that was very cool of you all, thanks. Mike, thanks for taking the car for a spin during intermission & showing me that different line to the stop. Steve, thanks for the Subway run. James is stopping by shortly to grab his camera.
