Anyone looking to purchase a gently used EVO?

Fun event, evo is done for the season already, going to be in small bore for the rest of the season.

haha gently used. Man i would have liked to see that evo take off!

I cant believe that happened on baysox gravel, those tires must really be sticky.

Good luck with the repairs man!

Drake-

what was the outcome of that launch? I heard you bang the limiter a couple times in rapid succession....then silence....then being pushed back to paddock. I assumed trans or halfshaft, but never heard what happened. :|

You might want to check with AndrewTech for a quote. If you mention that you are an active CDC member and the car broke at a CDC event, they might cut you a break. AndrewTech has always been friendly to CDC members.

Oh Drake is a longtime friend/customer of Andrewtech! I'm sure he's talked to them.

The evo did in fact blow the transfer case. I can pull it out myself and send it to be rebuilt and it is not that expensive but that combined with tires and new brakes plus buying a new house in 3 months is going to put the rebuild off until the fall/winter.

I did not even bother talking to Andrew since I will have a garage in my new house and can just do it there and take my time. Andrew was very generous in letting me use a lift to do my clutch.

Re01R's with the front tires severely worn. I think it was the new clutch and the fact I was launching at 6k since last season, now it can be built to actually withstand that kind of abuse
