Yea, registration is very light. At the time of my posting, we only have 57 participants. Typically we get lots of people at Woodbridge??? Oh well, I guess that means we may be able to offer the Winchester (2 slot option) if the field doesn't fill up.

In the past, the attendance tends to drop off during the summer (vacations and heat) AND this year it's been super hot. At least the temperature is suppose to be a little cooler!

The weather is looking good for this one. Good being in the upper 80s. This event has the best surface of all the lots we use.

yup, I'm looking forward to this weekend... hopefully my rebuilt konis will get here in time... it's going to be tight.

I might have to bum a ride in someone else's small-bore car :P

I'm co-head organizer!!!!

So, any special requests for food? I figure a few less sausage since they're filling when it's really hot.

I might bring a package or two of cheddar brats (Johnsonville).

Also, Cherry Coke (and probably Cherry Zero/diet).

More water bottles and probably Gatorade in one of the jugs.

Lotsa ice, too. Might need a volunteer to run out around lunch (will reimburse and give free hot dog/sausage).

I miss you all and look forward to hanging out! Won't have a car, but will have lots of fun!

Turkey dogs would be nice for those of us who don't eat red meat. I'm probably the only one though

Just talked to True Choice... and they still haven't shipped my struts out... thanks for "taking my deadline into consideration" then just putting me in the same queue as everyone else :x *sigh*

anyone have a competitive small-bore car I can borrow? I can bring my own tires haha

Ha! My shocks have been at truechoice since June 10. They sent them back, but were all wrong. I got expedited on the second attempt and will have them middle of next week. There 2-3 week turnaround is BS. The first time...took about 6 weeks.

If I have time to get some chicken tenders, any takers? If I remember and have time, I was thinking of marinading some. Price would be $3 for a sammich.

Thanks for a great event today! The course was easy to follow and difficult to master. Definitely got to use more of second gear than usual. :)

Had a great time! Ran street tires for the first time so interested to see how it effects index time. Gave lots of ride alongs, including a guy who just happened to be passing by the event. To the earlier food discussion, there hasn't been any recalls on veggie sausages. ;) Mike ran my car in the morning and seemed to have fun. Here's a few photos (mostly of Mike in my car and miatas) and my in-car videos.

I can't believe how much food and drink we went through! The baseball folks also bought some as well. I ended up making a second run for food!

So, did anyone try the fruit punch? I thought it was great in the heat. Most of you seemed to not notice that we had that, even when we ran out of water all those times.

I'd like to thank James for the co-drive. Man, I'm in love with that Miata. I need an NC.

Was my first time out with this club and also, my first autocross event all together. Had a great time. I met a lot friendly similar minded people. Ill be looking forward to attending as many events as my wallet, car, self, or schedule can handle.

But hey if car breaks, that means its time rebuild stronger/faster and come back!

I liked the Opel just because it was different. You did really well, especially considering that was your first autocross. Glad you enjoyed the event.

Thanks for the kinds words, im gonna be attending again this weekend. I been watching a few videos of the james wood course and it looks much more confusing than this event. Ill certainly be asking for ride alongs before its my turn to step up to the plate.

See you guys there
