I'll probably miss this one as there is a Waldorf event.

She might be there but probably won't run. She said she liked how open the course at FedEx is. She'll probably run at Waldorf with A.I. and BMW later this year.FredK wrote:

Re: Autox Saturday August 27th at Bowie
Much faster. I placed 3rd out of 16 in STU right behind Shane and Josh last event lol. I was 2tenths from Ian Baker. In my black civic, I don't think I was ever within 3seconds of Ian. Now I'm at the point of having a chance to beat him. The car just needs some better brake pads and I'll be there.eage8 wrote:

Re: Autox Saturday August 27th at Bowie
If anyone was wondering or had not heard about it yet, CDC have officially adopted the new worker registration that we implemented at the last Winchester event. The changeovers were very quick and efficient, even during the later PM heats!
So remember to write your name and driver # on the worker sheet (at the timing tent) this Saturday before you head to a station. We'll remind everyone at the driver's meeting and at each changeover.

Re: Autox Saturday August 27th at Bowie
It's not sounding good.. IF the event is still a go, it'll definitly be a last min decision to go for me. I wouldn't expect many people to be there lol.kcook wrote:wondering if ed is going to cancel this event due to a hurricane
Re: Autox Saturday August 27th at Bowie
The event is currently a "go". It seems that the forecast is calling for rain starting on Saturday evening rather than Saturday day. We'll post on our web page if the event gets cancelled by Friday at 1PM and send out a mass e-mail to everyone.

"rain more on Saturday even than Saturday " that clears it up.

Re: Autox Saturday August 27th at Bowie
Hopefully the wind isn't too bad. Chasing after cones with no cars on course is fun

Re: Autox Saturday August 27th at Bowie
Course designer, please layout most of the course running with the wind. I don't need the embarassment of my 2 HP car standing still on course against the wind, I'm already slow.

Re: Autox Saturday August 27th at Bowie
I'm looking forward to my first CDC-run event.
Unfortunately, as I'm a Cobra pilot, my participation is somewhat based on weather. I've been following the forecasts with a keen eye.
