iPhone Telemetry app

Post by dan.griggs »

the G-meter and speed are a little bit off sync but it is still kind of a cool app. App name is VideoPro by optrix video taken without their crazy expensive phone case, video shot in 720p.

I could also use some driving tips if any of you would like to chime in on my line and/or technique.

Check out Harry's lap timer for the iphone. I've done some beta testing for it. It's a $20 app that will record speed, accel and position. There is a lot of continuous development for it.

It's pretty good at comparing driver A to driver B.

I was actually planning on using harry's lap timer but the auto-x feature would not let me record long enough to get around and map the course during the walk. The elements look almost exactly the same so i believe there is some shared code between the two, this optrix one was a little bit simpler and easier to use in manual mode than harry's.

Has anyone tried the bluetooth OBDII connector that can hook into this? Seems like some other cool stuff to try out

There's also TrackMaster if you have a Droid instead of an iPhone.
