Haven't yet decided if I'm going to bring the STI or the mini. Mike which do you think is the fastest?

The STI! Duh! You just need to drive it to it's potential.

STi. Hands down.

Unfortunately Tom Celica is not up to the task with 205 ZIIs. Maybe Andy will bring out the 275 A6s this time.

I think that meme should say "One does not simply...Beat Eric in Smallbore" :)

Field is full (even over-booked) and closed. If you made a reservation and are not attending, please e-mail me at capitaldriving@yahoo.com so that I can inform those waiting to squeeze in for a slot.

I thought about bringing either my koeneggeigneiigengeiegnesegg or my Porsche GT2 modified to over 600 horsepower, a limited edition and one of only 20 in the world, but thought instead I would go for being the fastest Red 2005 Mazda rx8 6MT with cloth interior and a child booster seat. It's a small class, but very competitive. :D

Harry Grove does not give us the option for a rain date. So if one participants shows, we pretty much run, unless the conditions are unsafe. Some of the other locations do give us the rain date option but not Harry Grove. In addition, we found that if we cancel and reschedule for rain it has to be extremely bad.

In the past we cancelled for a 70% to 100% chance of rain, and no rain occured (only to occur on the rescheduled rain date). One time we cancelled at Manassas with 100% chance of rain and a hurricane passing thru. The hurricane tracked futher South and missed us completely (and it pured heavily on the rescheduled rain date).

Don't be such a baby ;)

I guess I'll bring my extra tent so there is more covered space for participants to huddle under...
