Wish I could make this event but I am going to the SCCA Autocross School at FEDEX to work on the slow meaty part of my car! Have fun!

I'll give you the 2nd Gear racing FTD in the morning, but you'll have to give it up in the afternoon.

Don't think I can even shift to 2nd gear at Bowie. Can hit almost 60MPH at 7k redline in first with mine... Looking forward to the new toy's first autocross and my first event in years! :D See you all tomorrow. BTW Nathan, I'm going to be gunning for your morning FTD! haha

Hahaha, I did the whole "first gear for a run" bit last year. Had a blast, ate through a ton of tire, laughed a lot, and was incredibly slow  . What tires did you end up going with?

We'll have the Miata tomorrow, but I'm thinking I'll bring the Vette out to Winchester, even with my crappy Nitto Envos.

I managed a 43.3 morning only, I'm anxious to see if my rivals can beat that one!

You should have stuck around Fred, you might have been able to keep your spot as top 86/FR-S/BRZ

Afternoon was hot and greasy. Car was OK. I sucked. Think 8+ cones on day in new car. Got slow 41.5 clean and 40.7 dirty. Car much twitchier than Camaro. But considering 5 yr absence I shouldn't complain...

Mike. I ran Michelin pilot sport cup. Little stickier than Invo streets but no Hoosier. Good wear though.
