Next CDC Autox Saturday Sept 14th TNT Sunday Sept 15th

Post by echan »

CDC is back at Harry Grove on Saturday 9/14/13 followed by the TNT on Sunday 9/15/13. Reservations are open to members and their guests now (non-members can make a reservation on Friday 9/6/13).

Sorry we are NOT offering the second slot discount to allow for more participants (now that we are in the Fall and the field tends to get more full).

See you all there!

anybody find my numbers last event? 639? 10 inch white numerals?

Ed, I'm bringing like 10 RX8 buddies out to TnT day on Sunday (we had two guys who couldn't be there Saturday) and I think 6-7 of them are not CDC members yet, so I'll need to register them as guests. I'm waiting on their info to do so, but I'd like to secure slots for them in the meantime.

John P mentioned that Fredrick City is holding a fair that weekend. So traffic later in the day will be more full (with more police). So be careful.

For those that tried the ribs at the August 31st event, is it worth doing again?? I might be bringing my truck (and hence will have room for the smoker).

Totally, they were excellent. Didn't you sell out of them in like 15 minutes?

Actually, it took about 2 hours to sell out. Keep in mind that these are the ribs at Bowie. The ribs at Winchester (made by a real "rib pro") sold out in 15 minutes. I wasn't sure it the ribs we made were still acceptable to those that tried them.

Ed, your ribs were very very good. I would not be so bold as to request them because they're probably quite a bit of extra work for you, but if you feel like making them again our taste buds would be happy and would appreciate your effort.
