CDC Season Finale Autox November 16th and TNT 17th

Post by echan »

The reservation system is open for members (and their guests) to the season Finale at Harry Grove Stadium. The last autocross is Saturday November 16th and the last Test and Tune is Sunday November 17th (also at Harry Grove).

You can make a reservation under the Schedule Tab.

Non-members can make a reservation starting on Friday November 8th.

Make your reservation soon because we usually fill up on the last event!

There's a possibility that they tie in points from this event. If this happens, we (Mike M will work out the details and propose it to them, it a tie ends up happening) may offer them the option to do some sort of run-off to determine First Place (or they may both get rewarded). We see what happens...

Just an event question - what are the Test and Tune days about, Ed?

Seeing as I missed out on sign up for Saturday  I'd still like to stop out and toss the car around a few more times before snow!

Both events have been closed at capacity. We typically cap the late-season events at a lower number because we have less daylight to work with. If we tried to run 80 participants, the last heat would likely be running in the dark.

The T&T days are more expensive, but you usually get 10 runs AND you can opt to have an instructor drive your car during the lunch break, if you want to see what it could do in experienced hands.

Awesome! Great to hear that.

At the event back in October, there was mention of starting later due to daylight/ weather. Are we on for 8am arrival or 9am this weekend?
