It was great to see SpeedyCop bring out the Spirit of Lemons. That was a blast to watch, and Danny even got his GoPro onto it. I posted my exterior video here.

How did the Mazda challenge work out for Nate, Alex, and Greg (sorry if I missed anyone involved in that)?

Huge thanks to Denise for letting me drive her show-car Corvette, and Nick for giving me some runs in the Mini on R-comps. Both of those were a blast to drive. I've owned a Mini before, but now I am getting weird feelings towards something like a C5 Vette.

Great event, a big thank you to all the organizers for having everything go so smoothly. A special thanks to the course designer. The full size of the lot was well used, it had some technical turns, there was plenty of space to really get the cars going, it was easy to follow for the new to the sport, and above all it was safe. I really liked the Grid too. It was confusing at first for some people that had never seen something like that before, but now that it has been introduced I think next time will flow much better. It really is the best way I've seen yet (provided there is enough space for it).

The ribs were extra great this time, really loved that rub. The real bathrooms were also a big deal to some people. The extra seats that the field manager pulled out for everyone were a nice touch. Weather was perfect. Good shade from the stadium. Great attendance. Interesting cars.

I'm leaning toward calling this the best event I've been to yet.

A special thanks to Nick D. for letting me drive the Mini. My first drive in a front wheel drive on course, and the first time I've driven a properly set up car. That car is unexpectedly fast, I'm still trying to wrap my head around why/how.

Did you beat Joe and Me in the Mini or the GT-6? In either case, you were fast!

Mike - If you want to drive an STU prepped C5 we can definitely make that happen

I was in the Mini when I ran the fast laps. My index should be changed for the last three runs. Not sure if that will help or hurt my index time.

After driving it, it really made me want to get some decent tires and work on the suspension for the GT6. The Mini was SO MUCH easier to drive.

When I was done, I wanted another go because I was just getting a handle on how to drive it and knew I could go faster. :D

Dude Rocky I drove the mini the week prior on those tires and it was absolutely sublime! Makes me pine for DOT slicks myself :-D

I really want to take you up on that, but I don't know if I will make it to the next Waldorf event.

Had a great time, but the ribs were gone by the time I finished the 2nd & 3rd heats. :o
Would it be possible to reserve a rack at registration for us dual-heaters that go through lunch?

The course rocked. Thanks Larry and all you volunteers.

Not to mention lifting both the inside *and* the outside tires. :)

The Mazda challenge worked out better than expected. Everyone got to run in all the required cars. It was a blast to drive others cars and see how they felt and handled compared to yours. Not that the results mattered but...
1st Nate
2nd Me
3rd Justin
4th Andrew
5th Glenn
6th Jen

This table probably will not come out correct. Here were our times.
Miata Speed 3 Rx8 Total
Nate 42.52 43.21 41.73 127.46
Greg 42.56 43.87 42.7 129.13
Justin 42.95 43.6 42.93 129.48
Andrew 43.6 43.2 43.7 130.5
Glenn 43.4 45.56 45.56 134.52
Jen 44.73 45 45.43 135.16
