RFK stadium

Post by FiST970 »

I'm still pretty new to the area and still very new to autocross, but I was wondering if it was possible to use the old Indy car (?- not sure what racing series used it) at RFK stadium. I know In the past they complained about the sounds of the cars being too loud but they ran the Red Bull Global Rallycross series on an adjacent lot last year and are back again this year. I'm sure you have already looked into but I figured I'd throw my naive .02 in there

I was there for a car demonstration and the surface wasn't very good. I've also heard that it's very expensive.

They weren't interested in hosting auto-x events for a long time. After the global RC event they held there some people inquired into holding autocrosses. Basically what it came down to is it's expensive and the insurance required is also very high.
