Within the next 2 weeks, we should see the City of Frederick send out their own crew to fix the pavement at the stadium. I've already reviewed the areas they intend to address and it looks like they will take care of everything. Here's hoping for a quality repair and a little more flexibility with our course at the June Harry Grove event.

Hopefully they do a better job with patching it then around here where the patches sometimes make things worse. I have high hopes though, City of Frederick don't let us down!

Excellent! Does the City own the facility? I had assumed that it was privately owned, and if that's the case it's a little surprising that the City would cover it unless it's a partnership kind of deal. In any event, it sounds promising!

The City does own and maintain the lot. I was surprised, too.

Probably so that they can (or why they do) dump extra snow there during the big snow storms.

I visited the lot on Saturday 5/30 and some, not all, bad spots have been fixed. With all the rain so far this week I'm thinking that the ones still needing repair may not get done, but I guess we'll find out on Saturday.
