even if it's legit, my guess is it would be an exercise in frustration on a nice tight CDC auto-x course. It'll get spanked by subies and civics. ;) I'd LOVE to see one up close though!

I don't believe there are any CCRs in the US. I thought we only had a handful of CCXs.

Wouldn't someone here know if a CDC member owns a Koenigsegg? Has it ever been seen or talked about at past events? I find it hard to believe that this is the first we are hearing of it. It has a very low car # so I would guess it would have to be owned by someone who has been a member for a while.

Anyways, I really hope it is in fact legit and does make it out to the event! I've never seen one in person, let alone on an Auto-X course, so I'd love to get a bunch of pics and vids of it running. That car is made for top end... so it will be interesting to see how the driver handles that much car on such a tight, relatively low speed track.

With regard to its rarity. Some of you may have noticed that last month at the Bowie event there was an extremely rare car in the parking lot. The blue and black Lotus Exige S "Club Racer". I beleive only 25 or soo were built and who knows how many made it to the states. Shame it didn't run that day! My point is, if an ultra low production car like that can make an appearance, why not a Koenigsegg.

All things considered though, I must say "I'll believe it when I see it!"

Well as we all saw it was indeed a scale model. Such a small scale that it was impossible to see! :)
