Congrats to CDC members running SCCA events!

Post by AJ_RDR_Civic »

Congrats to all the CDC members who also ran SCCA events that placed for the '09 season! The WDCR season standings are posted, AI hasn't posted their season standings yet but I calculated the totals(hopefully I'm right). These are lists of people running SCCA events that have placed top 3 for the season that also run at the CDC events.

For Autocrossers Inc., I'm unsure if they are dropping 1 lowest score or 2. Their 2008 supplements show them dropping 1 but they had 5 events last year. I'm assuming they will drop 1 event of the 6 this year. The * next to Franklin Dam and Justin Neal means they got this place assuming they drop 1 event.

Autocrossers Inc.
CS- Franklin Dam 2nd*
ESP- Jim Harris 1st
FSP- Phillip Yates 1st
ST- Alejandro Aviles 1st
ST- Jason Hubbard 2nd
STS- Yaroslav “Slava” Burmaka 2nd
STX- Justin Neal 2nd*
STU- Mark Anstrom 1st

Washington D.C. Region

CS- Franklin Dam 2nd
ES- David Sneeringer 3rd
GS- Steve Mitchell 2nd
ST- Alejandro Aviles 1st
STS- Yaroslav “Slava” Burmaka 2nd
STX- Travis Finlay 1st
SM- Brian Karwan 1st
SM- Ernest Campana 2nd
XP- Fred Kelley 1st
XP- Laurence Casey 2nd
XP- Craig Stuard 3rd
BSP- Francois Bru 1st
FSP - Andy Thomas 1st

If I missed anyone please speak up!

Congrats again to all members! It's been a great season, hope to see you at the award banquet!

My bad didn't read the whole post thought it was for last event. I only ran the last 2 events not even close in the final standings.

i'm not able to attend many cdc events so it's pretty easy to not remember that i'm a cdc member :D .

yeah the points came down to the last event. marshall cone, who was right behind me in points, co-drove my car at the last wdcr race. I think I only beat him by a tenth of a second  . I didn't realize the anything was wrong with the motor till I started driving away at the end. It was a very similar ticking to what I heard back in june when the other motor went. I haven't had a chance to drop the pan and look at the damage but motors are very cheap for the accents so another 250 bucks should get me up and running again for next season. I am going to have to address the oil slosh issue that is causing the bearing failures. it might be time for an accusump since nobody makes any type of baffled pan for the hyundais. I never had any problems till I started running the new hoosiers so I must be pulling quite a few more g's than before.

congrats aj on your 2 championships and all my other fellow competitors that took home championships in the wdcr and autocrossersinc.

$250 isn't bad for a motor lol. That's like the cost of a semi-decent baffled pan on most other cars.
