If there is a tie in the championship points, how is the winner decided?

Crash your cars into each other. Whoever survives wins!

We would just award two first places and the next person would be third place.evolicious wrote:If there is a tie in the championship points, how is the winner decided?

Hmm... a rap dance-off to rock, paper, scissors in a giant pie causing cars to crash over a first point bridge.

Re: Championship Points
Is it possible to have my points combined on the current list before the end of the season?
I noticed i am listed twice in two separate points sets via two different display names.
ScottM - 415 total points
Scott Mer - 205 total points
Not sure where that puts me with the 4 drops at the end of the season.
Thanks!
Scott

Sure, someone can definitely handle that. Thanks for pointing it out.
Really, things like this cause the results to take a bit longer to process b/c of things like signing up as ScottM and Scott Mer*. We need to find a way to register and use an existing profile. Kyle (and anyone else that's worked on the system) did a great job setting it up. However, it's these little things that make whoever's compiling the results, try to catch misspellings, name changes, typos, nicknames, etc.

This is a great Idea so who can choke down the most dried out meat. I like it.ferris wrote:eating contest with whatever food we have left over at the end of sunday ... everyone loves those charred dogs after a long day in the sun
Humm I like this a profile that is tied to your forum handle so that you don't have to fill out the registration sheet every time. You could just log into your account and it auto fills it out via your profile, you want to run r comps change it in your profile.saint_foo wrote:

or even just a login with auto fill out in the registration section if it's to hard to link it to your forum profile.

Re: Championship Points
Ya really no problem at all. I just assumed that points were tallied by car/membership number. Someone needs to work on an open source race day registration system like DLB that doesn't cost the small clubs a fortune. Sounds like a good winter projectsaint_foo wrote:defylogik wrote:Is it possible to have my points combined on the current list before the end of the season?

I have actually done this. 1972 Camaro vs a Jeep wrangler. Axles chained together.JoeTR6 wrote:Tug-of-war. I'd like to see what happens when the Suxass is chained to a Cobra.
The Camaro won heartily. It dragged the jeep with 4 spinning wheels down the road.

That wouldn't be fair. Suxass weighs way more than a cobra.

Re: Championship Points
Is there some sort of get together after the race on Saturday for trophy giving and announcements and such, or is all that a different day at some other location?
