I can't take full credit. I could never get them out this fast without Joe Seward. He has built CDC's timing system from basically nothing, and it's really starting to come together now.

As always, thank you to all the organizers. Had a great time as usual. Great course for the lot.

Here are a few of my videos from the autocross today. Camera 2 is probably the most interesting. It was mounted on the right side rear quarter panel. Also was my fastest run if it wasn't for the +1.

Run 1, 40.5 sec, Camera 3
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxAMnN8LzSo

Run 4, 40.2 sec, Camera 1
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9uiY7UXZkq0

Run 5, 39.7sec+1, Camera 2
Off to bed while it's uploading. i'll update with link later. Or watch one of the others above and search for the 3rd video from the same user.

Great videos Frank. I especially like the sound of the stones bouncing off camera 4. Also-- I finally see where I was going off course #!@##**!

Here are some videos from the corolla:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lr1hB3tcS8c

I didn't record my fastest two runs (a 41.3 and a 41.7) so you guys are stuck with a 42.0 (the first video) and 2 slower ones :-P

the camera is mounted to the windshield, I think it's a decent place to mount it.

Great event with terrific weather! I'm glad all the CDC participants were polite and did not lose their temper when some of the baseball parents/coach started yelling at us - it's always best to take the high road and the Hylton HS Coach, along with the Police said that we were professional and were a pleasure to deal with (unlike many other individuals they have to deal with daily).

I will follow up with the school on Monday to ensure that we are in good standing with the school.

Good job, Ed. HHS is a very nice lot and I would really miss it if we lost it(even if I can't seem to find the course). When do we see our Pic's in the local paper?

Here are my videos with my fastest run (I apologize I forgot to tighten down top adjustment so its a little shaky):

Yeah, she took my pic too, obviously she could tell it requires more skill to go slow. I wouldn't mind seeing the article.

I'm pretty sure a sony cybershot will be compatible with our 1/4" mount (standard camera mount). Bring it next time and we can test fit.

Thanks to everyone who helped me get the broken WRX up and moving. From the tools I borrowed to the ride I got to Lowes, I am definitely glad it happened at the event and not on the highway. It could have been a lot worse then what it turned out to be.

Mike's first run in the Coupe (data capture malfunctioned, and that's the only one of his we got), leading to his 38.5 second place finish --

Ben,
Your car would be a CDC beast with 4:10 gears. It looked good, but the front needs to be softer.
