^Hey John....I clicked on your flickr link....says the photos are "private". Once you get the star specs "worn" in a bit....they really are great tires.

Thanks for posting the link, Aron.

Take a good look at the results, everyone, and let me know of any changes that need to be made. There could be some obvious mistakes. I have fallen asleep 3 times trying to put these together. Time for some well-earned rest.

I was quite curious since I didn't really see/hear anyone of the top guys' times. :-) Looks like I'm still not up there, but I'm determined to steal an FTD away from the Cobras before the season is done.

Bleh....should have gotten a top 10, but I sucked it up. Two things I noticed, MIke....First, the fella in the G35 was driving Dan's Miata when he ran the 45.xx. Second, the 2010 STI (Silver) in the top 10 has an index that doesn't make sense. Other than that....thanks for the quick posting of the results! Aron.....getting very close to those cobra guys... :o

I forgot to add my thanks for the results and the rest of the work you guys do. I need to stop being lazy and starting helping out where I can (I got burnt out helping out with clubs up in Seattle). :-(

I have a silver 2008 STI... do you mean me? If so I marked my hp as 250-350, weight as 3000-3500, and tire type as street tires when I registered for this event. I am still using the index sticker that was printed for me at the March 27th event. I asked if I need to print a new index sticker for each event (assuming my car is the same) and was told I didn't need to.

Apologies....I meant the 2010 (Black?)....for some reason I remembered it as silver. Your index looks fine to me.

I guess your glad brian doesn't show up anymore. It might be more embarrassing losing to a civic?

Thanks for a fun time out there, guys. Great course - I'm looking forward to the Sept. 11 event.

It's a darn shame that the 41.8 that I ran didn't end up being clean. Still have no idea what cone I hit....but that's always the case. There's always WAY too much adrenaline going on to watch out for those little orange things. :D

Anyway, it was great meeting you all, and I'll be sure to see you at the next event.

P.S. To keep up with the running M3 image, I'll have to be sure to wear something with lots of Roundels next time.

Aaron , I think you should set more realistic goals, maybe "fastest white car".

Probably mean my STI, I have the 2010 Black STI. My car is bone stock minus sway bars, hence the 1.01 index.

It's a shame I didn't even run my last two runs, might have been up in the top 3 index times if it weren't for my brakes fading :( Think I will have to try bleeding them again.

Forgot to add the actual index numbers,

Street Tires = 1.00
201 to 250 HP = 1.02
Vehicle weight 3,001 to 3,500 lbs = 0.99

Total = 1.01

According to the Mach V dyno, 2010 STI is about 245 hp at the wheels.

On rainy days, the Cobra guys remain indoors plotting world domination while hammered on pricey microbrews.

So yeah, there's your shot.

Sounds about right. I put mine at 250-350 hp just because of the stage 1 flash.

Imagine how much faster you'd be on some decent tires! ;)

I know one Cobra guy who doesn't hide from the rain and came in second at Cumberland. Bring on the rain:)
