Larry, that's nice, but I get embarassed when you talk about me. Bring on the rain! As long as a car gayer than my miata doesn't beat me I don't care.

Probably mean my STI, I have the 2010 Black STI. My car is bone stock minus sway bars, hence the 1.01 index.

It's a shame I didn't even run my last two runs, might have been up in the top 3 index times if it weren't for my brakes fading :( Think I will have to try bleeding them again.
Fading brakes? Or just air in lines? AutoX usually isnt hard on brakes in terms of heat build-up.

video of some of my runs:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmILWepT_NM

it was a lot of fun, that was one of the better courses at bowie, I don't usually like bowie much. I thought the mixing up the start and stop was a nice change. I'm also pleased with my 7th fastest raw time :) I'm sad I won't be able to make it out to the next auto-x at harry grove. I might be able to give the cobras a run for their money there ;)

haha, I was mainly joking. I don't have to back it up because I won't be there haha. But you did only beat me by 2 seconds lol, and less than 1 indexed.

Fred you should only be worried if a capri beats you.

Thanks to dan and Ian for letting me bum co drives the cars were a lot of fun. See and I wasn't even a threat to you SB guys.

Larry had a great course with some elements I'm not sure CDC has used before, mainly the decreasing radius skid pad and the 180 up to the finish. Both of those were key elements. If you could figure out a fast line through those it either made or broke your time.

Now we have a week off till we go to HG, hopefully well get another good turnout to that event.

Well, this blind pig finally found an acorn Saturday. Thanks to all of our fellow competitors for their gracious good wishes.

I liked Larry's course a lot. The layout was simple and intuitive, but getting around it quick was challenging.

Here's the obligatory video. A bit tighter to the cones in the pad than Corolla's line:

I am pretty sure its just air in the lines at least that's what I am hoping. But its only when they get hot. When on the street they feel pretty good, not brand new good, but they don't fade like they were after 2 runs auto-xing. Also the pads are Hawk HPS, so they should be able to handle auto-x just fine.

You can come and use my driveway if you need to bleed the brakes. Give me a call.

I actually just bled them at my parents house yesterday. The front right had a lot of air bubbles so I hope that was it. Will find out at the next autox. Not sure what else it could be if it still has issues

Take the car out and do a couple ABS stops. This will purge any air from the hydraulic unit and prove if they have been bled enough. If the pedal gets soft again then there was air trapped in the unit and the brakes must be bled again.
