Better tell Paul (Gimp) and his wife then! They'll be out saturday also!
I can say it does have a bit more grip than the truckster, but handling wise it's just not that great. In fact it's the worst handling/driving car I own. Even after replacing the entire suspension. But, I guess I'll definitively know after the autocross.

I'm not really knocking it, Mike. Paul & I are intimately familiar (don't ask), and frequently throw our car keys at one another, as you will see this Saturday.FamilyTruckster wrote:Better tell Paul (Gimp) and his wife then! They'll be out saturday also!

Re: Bowie 9-25
Oh, Duh! That's right. I remember him mentioning that he was going to be running your car at Cumberland!
But seriously, I was very disappointed with the ti when i finally got to drive it. I nearly spun it on a slow sweeper on a backroad on my way to get it inspected. (really bad rear subframe/control arm bushings- and it passed!!!) I'm still not that impressed with it, even with replacing/upgrading the whole suspension.
I'll have to bum a ride with Paul and see how his does.

Big turnout brewing. Going to be some larger heats. We should be well stocked for workers.

Yeah the ti uses the same suspension as the E30, needless to say it's an outdated design. But it's still a fun cheap bimmer.
Nahh we still need about 20 more people to register before it's a big turnout. But it is looking to be one of the healthiest we have had this year.

& hopefully they will expedite heat change overs so we don't have to beg for workers to be on the course.

problem is when there are larger turnouts many people shrug work assignments thinking that some one will be there to cover their shift.

I'm pretty sure I registered, but haven't received an email or seen my name in the roster. What's the deal with the barcode? Is that something I need to print out and bring?
Yeah, E36 front end, E30 butt. Makes one heck of a great commuter, great milage and easy to parallel park.

What a fun day, seem's as though we all seemed to enjoy the day. Some of those cars were really loud though.

That might have been the best course I've run on that lot yet. We were all skeptical during walks but once it clicked and I got it, geez that was fun. Who'da thunkit, quality foot-on-floor time at Bowie? Bravo.

Re: Bowie 9-25
Fun times, everyone. Thanks for putting together a great course.
It doesn't need to be changed (after all, it was my fault), but I should be classed in the 250-350 bhp class. I'll have to actually print the correct sticker next time.

Mike, I think you have the wrong time in for me for small bore. I ran a 41.62 in the BMW. I ran the 43.46 in Ben's Mustang.
