Fredericksburg Show for a GREAT cause

Post by RememberingtheBrave »

Remembering the Brave Foundation is a 501(3)(c) non-profit, all volunteer charity that supports our nation’s gold star families—those families who lost a loved one in the ongoing global War on Terror. Our Foundation was founded by Marine Officers and Gold Star Mothers; for nearly a decade we have worked to remember the sacrifices of our lost soldiers and sailors while caring for the family left back home.

We are happy to announce our 3rd annual Camaro and Firebird Car Show will be held May 11th, 2013 in Fredericksburg. Admission is free to the general public; $20 donation to show. May 11, 1000-1400 (that is 10-2pm, for the non-military types) at the Classic Car Center in Fredericksburg, VA. More info at: http://vacamaroclub.com/events/icalrepe ... d-car-show

Last year we had great turn out from the DC area; 50 Camaros registered and hundreds attended. Pre-registration is going great, and we are expecting our biggest event yet! We have lots of donated door prizes and places for all five generations of Camaros. We also have prizes for Kids’ Pick, Ladies’ Pick, and the ever-popular Maine Corps Pick. A great event for adults and kids of all ages. Food on hand, as well as tool vendors. Certainly other makes are welcome.

Bottom line, we are a group of veterans, family, and supportive community members, and most of all, car-enthusiasts, who are looking to raise money for a great cause. Members of Remembering the Brave will be present.
