A modern car is anything built after 1980?

Sounds like fun though and May is going to be sadly devoid of CDC auto-x events....

This sounds super cool. I am going to email him and get more information, but can anyone highlight exactly what this type of event entails?

I think Joe Macinnes, Denise, and Kyle can probably give you more information...

Lol, I still think of 2001 models as "new" :-p

I don't know how the poker run works exactly (except that you get cards). The ones that I did are more like driving scavenger hunts But that part doesn't really make a difference. The main point is to drive around on awesome roads for a few hours with someone you like. (Guys, this can be a good opportunity to get your S.O. to do car stuff with you!) Then you have lunch, and awards are handed out. It doesn't matter if you win anything, the point is more to enjoy the drive.

Every year this falls on a day that I'm busy :(

Does Joe (or his club) organize any other road rallies throughout the year?

If I wasn't going to be in Florida that weekend this would be my first road rally. I'm sure I could get my wife to participate and Gitfiddles is a nice little country bar and restaurant. What Mike said-- does Joe organize any other rallys throughout the year?
