Going to be at Shenandoah with Trackdaze next weekend but only on Saturday (Harry Grove on Sunday).
Anybody that shows up is welcome to a point-by and the ever-present bucket of pretzels...

I had a blast doing two days at VIR last weekend with TrackDaze and I will be at Shenandoah on both days in two weekends. I'll be running either black or yellow group (depending on sizes) and I'll be camping. I have the beater-looking black 2g Integra. It may not be the best at autocross, but it hauls everything that is needed for a weekend of camping AND racing!

Cool, I'll stop by. I'm in green group... The miata can fit some tools, wood blocks/ramps, and lunch but is then completely full. I want to do one of the NASA VIR events and camp. Maybe I'll look into getting/building a trailer like Jared.

I'll be looking for you.
VIR is AWESOME. But they charged me $35 to camp and the camp sites are pitiful. Summit has free camping and nice amenities.
I see many miatas with small "utility trailers" at track days. They could definitely give you the ability to set up a good camp site for a weekend at the track!

the event is full now! pretty popular indeed.
I would let you borrow my trailer for the track event if i didn't have to pack it for Sunday autox...

If you're anything like me (and many others I'm sure), remembering a track is like remembering how to ride a bike.
See you there!

Looking great once you had some open track to yourself! It was good seeing you out there; hope to see you at more.

Awesome, I wish I had a camera setup...what kind is yours?
They didn't have any extra instructors but once I was on track it came back to me quickly just like you said
Sunday was a mixed bag for me, the weather was actually surprising good again with a couple small sprinkles but mostly dry which let me reduce my laptimes to sub 1:47. The lap after setting my fastest time I clipped the curbing much harder than usual coming onto the bridge straight while doing a slightly hairy pass which bent one of my wheels and borked my alignment
I dropped it off at RRT and they noted that one of the shocks was also pretty jacked up. So I took the opportunity to order some coilovers which should result in a less comical amount of body roll compared to stock springs and most importantly finally being able to run real camber setting and not wear out my tires prematurely

woah dude. That kind of sucks... but kind of doesn't?
I have one of the old gopros.. "Hero HD Naked." It works fine and it does 720p/60fps... I got it for $80 on ebay and compiled this camera mount, which was on my harness bar:

yeah i had a sad because of $$$ but also happy because of new parts especially getting to toss out 8 year old stock springs and shocks
and that is a great resolution to dollar ratio!!! looks just like the $1000 dollar cameras and i found something new to go CL prowling for....

Dude... 01:47 is awfully close to my lap times. It should be great with some coilovers!
