We are trying to gauge public response to the idea of having a FATT for Vintage cars only, say 1980 or older. Basically it would be for folks who want to get out in some old iron and run some fast laps with an instructor, but maybe don't want to go all hard core all day. Looking for input and thoughts on this idea. Maybe by the fall or next spring for an event date. Anyone interested? Do you know someone you think might be interested? Please let them know! They are talking about doing the Vintage FATT during the Jefferson 500, but on Jefferson Circuit. I am planning to enter the Pinto at the Jefferson 500, so I obviously won't be doing both. My crew chief will likely drive his Cougar during the Vintage FATT if they do it.

My first ever track day was in my Cougar on Jefferson circuit, with the Corvette club. I think it is a terrific place to learn how to drive. I wouldn't want to 'race' on it, but I think it is a great place for open track, especially for first timers.

i did a "hyperdrive" with nasa there in my wifes' fit. you're right, it's not terrible as a HPDE track, but it would be extremely difficult so it seems for a race track.
