Should CDC continue to post updates to the blog?

Keep posting to the blog.
Don't need a blog now that we've got the discussion forum.

Is anyone reading the CDC blog? Do you like it? Should we keep it now that we have the discussion forum?

I think it serves a different purpose than the forums and could still be useful to have something written by the club to serve as PR material.

I vote for keep it if it's not too much work to write it and keep it updated. I think it would be more widely read if it was easier to find from the Home page.

I agree with Gonz. The blog is a much quicker way to get news, and if I'm in a hurry I'll look there first. You can always link to a post containing the details.

I still say you should make the Blog the front page. Incorporate the Menu into the Blog page. That way everyone sees the latest news right off the bat, and then they can choose whether to look at results, media, schedule, etc.

I bet a lot of people are missing out on the blog because they haven't bothered to look at it, forgot about it, whatever.
