CDC hats, shirts, etc....do we have any for sale?

Post by saint_foo »

Don't we have a bunch of shirts, hats, etc available for sale? If so, what are the prices? Pics? Can we start selling them at the events or offer them as prizes?

Merchandise

Show your enthusiasm and support the club by wearing your CDC baseball cap and polo shirt to events. To purchase club merchandise come to one of our events or click CONTACT to inquire about sizing and availability.

Baseball caps $18

Polo shirts, short sleeve $28

We've got about 20 hats left and some traffic cone shirts (no more red car shirts?) but Ed Chan will have to tell you what sizes remain.

If there's sufficient interest I can setup an online store so people can buy CDC merchandise. Right now participants purchase merchandise at our events. The club uses merchandise sales as a fund raiser to pay for trophies. If we go to CafePress or some other outside provider the prices may increase for comparable quality apparel or if prices remain the same the club wouldn't make as much money as a cut goes to the middleman. It's a tradeoff. With CafePress there is no inventory to manage as items are made on demand. Plus there would be a greater variety of merchandise to choose from. People could get coffee mugs, stickers, thongs, etc. emblazoned with the club logo.

Check out this cool license plate frame that Charles had custom commissioned for his car.

Stickers? magnetic stickers?

I've had a CafePress store for a while and it's way simple.

Kyle, any further interest in this? I'd really like to buy something CDC, but not a hat or collared shirt.

Yes, it's on the to do list. Sorry it's taken me so long to get some of this stuff done but I do what I can in between all my other life responsibilities. CDC website v.2.0 will have a CafePress store with license plate frames, stickers, t-shirts, etc. I'd like to do some fun t-shirt designs that exemplify how much fun it is to auto-x. Anybody know a good graphic designer?

Yes, definately keep us posted on this subject Kyle! I'd also be interested in displaying some CDC propaganda, specially magnetic stickers, decals or plate frames.

Kyle - I know a few graphic designers that are pretty talented. I'd be happy to see if any of them would be interested in doing some designs for CDC...

Sorry, nothing new to report. But I do appreciate the reminder to get busy on this. I think a Cafe Press store would be the best option for the club. You guys get the branded merchandise you want and the club has little/ no overhead or inventory to manage.
