If you know me, you would know that I prefer beef or pork over chicken. However, I’ll go out of my way to get chicken from Jacalito located at 8081-A Alban Rd, Springfield, VA 22150 ( http://www.jacalitogrill.com ) where Backlick Rd becomes Alban Rd, near Newington (also near the Springfield Costco).
The chicken is juicy with the grilled spices that you can taste with every bite (not just on the surface). Dipping it with the white and green sauce just makes it taste even better!
The restaurant is not a formal sit-down place, but a great place to get great food.
So if you’re near Springfield and want to try something new, I highly recommend Jacalito.

Super Chicken in Silver Springs, MD and Falls Church, VA aren't bad either.
