I got one for Christmas, but the Miata is in storage and I have nothing to do with it.
I made a quick video to make sure it worked. Hopefully it will dry out soon and I can strap it to the mountain bike or something interesting. I can't wait to get some point-of-view footage and get some footage from the Miata without the roll bar diagonal ending up in the shot because the camera is too big. The helmet cam should help me to see just how bad my "look ahead" skills are.

Cool, I use a helmet cam for filming from my miata, although I don't have it on the helmet(too much movement), I usually have it on the side of the headrest for an over shoulder look. Since they are so small with a ziptie or velcro you can stick them anywhere! Dash, side or rearview mirror, etc. I've thought about trying the grill, that would be a cool view although you'd have to get out to start/stop the cam. Mine was cheap so if something happens to it no worries.
