Pat Moss 1934-2008

I just heard that Pat Moss has died aside from being a noted horsewoman & sister of Stirling she won the European Ladies Rally Championship 5 times, won outright the 1960 Liege-Rome-Liege& took runner up in the Alpine & RAC rallies blaming the loss on the latter on stopping to loan rival Eric Carlsson (to whom she was later married) a tire.She won the Monte-Carlo Rally 5 times. After an extraordinary career over nearly 20 years she retired in 74 but apparently never slowed down reportedly getting a speeding ticket recently while towing her horsetrailer. Before most of you all were born she kicked a** & took names in one of the most grueling forms of motorsport. RIP
