good shop?

Post by milkmandan »

Anybody know of a good mechanic that's willing to do some less-than-typical work? I'm trying to find someone to install an LSD (no carrier) in my Miata, but nobody want's to touch it since I already have the diff. Bonus if they're in NoVA near Alexandria.

Andrewtech in Gaithersburg, MD is about to put an LSD in my 1997 Miata. They are also installing a head, high flow cat and exhaust, along with doing the timing belt, water pump, seals and tensioners.

Did you supply your own parts or purchase through them?

@OP Did you find a place to do it? I'm pondering an LSD for the fit.

I'll second AndrewTech. They have worked on my miata before and will soon be doing the alignment on my miata (hopefully I can swap my suspension this week ... pray for no rain).

They have always been super helpful and do quality work.
