I need to get into a spec miata and I'm looking to see what kind of market there is for my car. If I can't get what I need for it then I will just build it. This car is very competitive at CDC - I've won 3 of the 4 events I've attended. It is also a lot of fun on the track and has been reliable for me driving to, at, and from all events.
1990 Miata 1.6L 215,500 miles, 2,090 lbs, brand new paint
Rotella engine oil
Red Line trans/diff
New clutch and related items this spring
1999 4.3 Torsen with urethane mount bushings
Manual steering rack
A/C Delete (heater still works - has blower tube)
Radio Delete
Soft top delete
Koni Race Shocks front and rear (these are not the cheaper sport shocks)
Eibach 700F 450R
Ground Control sleeves/perches
Racing Beat tubular 1.125 dia front sway bar
949Racing adjustable end links in front
Stock rear sway bar and links with urethane bushings on both
All urethane bushings in the control arms
Control arms drilled/tapped with grease zerks installed
949Racing 6UL 15x7.5 wheels with 195/50/15 Toyo R1R (nearing the end of their life)
Stock Daisys with 185/60/14 Star Specs (lots of life left)
Koyo 37mm aluminum radiator
New coolant hoses
TIming belt/water pump replaced last spring. Short nose crank keyway was perfect.
New CAS o-ring, rear main seal, front crank seal.
Spec miata cat-back
Magnaflow direct-fit "high flow" cat
Raceland header with header blanket
MSPNP gen 1 using the gm IAT sensor (afm delete), k&n cone filter, Innovate MTX-l wideband, launch control...
Early hardtop w/no headliner or defrost. Installed with spec miata brackets
Hard-dog hardcore double-diagonal roll bar
Pop-up headlights deleted with custom aluminum panels and projectors in the front turn signals.
Ebay front lip with brake ducts.
Spec miata tow hooks
I have all the carpet and interior bits from the car but currently the only carpet is the main floor carpet.
I have almost everything from the car so if there are parts installed you don't want I can return that item to stock and we can work on the price.
$7k or best good offer.

Buying this would definitely be cheaper than building. Ask me how I know...
Forgot it has stainless brake lines and clutch line.

I think you forgot to include a list of the stickers attached to this car.

How many miles are on the engine? Is it a MD car or a VA car and does it have a current inspection?

As far as I know it's the original engine so 215,500. Haven't checked the VIN on the engine - I could do that.defylogik wrote:How many miles are on the engine? Is it a MD car or a VA car and does it have a current inspection?
It's a MD car and it's registered historic so I've never had it inspected. I'm not sure if it would pass inspection with the current headlight setup or not but I still have the pop-ups that could be put back in and the pop-up lids have fresh paint like the rest of the car.

soooo, has the car value diminished in light of recent results? I'll give you $1000 for the scrap mental.
